While half of our site is given over to football pitches that are sterile ecologically, we were sure that the remaining land had the potential to be planted and managed in way that would greatly increase its biodiversity benefiting both nature and the people who use the Rec. Our volunteers have worked at creating habitats and letting nature take over. We look forward to seeing what arrives on the Rec in the coming years. Great progress so far!
